Bloomers

Goring on Thames in Bloom is run entirely by volunteers and we depend on their dedication and support. There are around 40 individuals currently signed up. Some take responsibility for particular containers or areas year-round, and/or respond when-ever the call goes out for a working party. We need help with digging, planting, trimming, weeding and watering along with fundraising and administration. It’s a great way to get out into the fresh air and meet like-minded people whilst enhancing our beautiful local environment. We are a very friendly group and its rewarding work, even when it’s raining. Why not join our ranks and become a Bloomer? It will be up to you how much time you spend and how often you join us – every minute of help is appreciated.
